Karen Jeffer has over 40 years of professional experience in the legal and administrative fields. Currently serving as a Paralegal at Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC since February 1994, Karen specializes in the Intellectual Property Group, focusing on the preparation, filing, and prosecution of patent and trademark applications while ensuring the maintenance of issued patents and registered trademarks. Previous roles include Administrative Assistant at Union Carbide from 1991 to 1993, assisting the Director of Diversity and Director of Human Resources, and various paralegal and legal assistant positions at McCabe & Mack LLP and Anderson Moreland & Bush, working in areas such as matrimonial law, estates, litigation, and Blue Sky Law. Karen holds a Patent Paralegal Certificate from IpLegalEd and a Finishing Certificate in Business/Office Automation from Duff's Business Institute.
