Phil Arthurs

Phil Arthurs is an accomplished executive in the aerospace sector, currently serving as the Executive Director of Downsview Aerospace Innovation & Research (DAIR) since November 2018, where the focus is on developing an aerospace innovation hub and supporting collaborative R&D in Ontario and Canada. Prior to this role, Phil Arthurs held various positions at the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, including Director of Operations and Manager of Aerospace and Manufacturing, from January 2012 to November 2018. Experience also includes consulting roles at Dassault Systèmes and the Centre for European Policy Studies. Phil Arthurs holds an MBA in International Business from Toronto Metropolitan University, a B.Eng in Aerospace Engineering from Ryerson University, and has completed courses in Canadian Public Administration and Foundations of Business Analysis from Ryerson University and the University of Toronto, respectively.
