Ofer Amram

Ofer Amram has a diverse work experience, beginning with a role as a Sound Designer at Sextant Entertainment in 1999. In 2007, they moved to the City of Port Moody as a GIS and Infrastructure Coordinator. Ofer then worked at Simon Fraser University as a Spatial Analyst/Researcher from 2008 to 2010. From 2010 to 2017, they worked at the BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS as a Spatial Analyst and Postdoctoral Fellow. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Data Science Consultant at Downtown.AI. Ofer is currently an Assistant Professor at Washington State University.

Ofer Amram completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Epidemiology from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2012 to 2015. Ofer also obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Health Geography/GIS from Simon Fraser University from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Spatial Information Systems from Simon Fraser University in August 2007.
