Kourtny Garrett is an experienced leader in urban development and community relations, currently serving as President & CEO of Downtown Denver Partnership since January 2022. Prior to this role, Kourtny held various positions at Downtown Dallas, Inc. from September 2002 to January 2022, including President & CEO, Executive Vice President, Senior Vice President of Marketing, and Managing Director of the Main Street District. Kourtny's earlier experience includes managing community relations at Children's Medical Center in 2001-2002 and working in marketing and communications at Southlake Town Square/Cooper & Stebbins from 2000 to 2001. Kourtny Garrett holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts/English from Austin College and has furthered education at the University of Texas at Arlington College of Architecture, Planning and Public Affairs, as well as attending the University of London.
