Larry Smith

Larry Smith is the current Director at DESC. Larry was previously with the US Postal Service from August 2003 to December 2008 as an Electromechanical Technician. There, they were responsible for preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance tasks associated with the upkeep and operation of various types of mail processing and conveyor systems. Larry would also troubleshoot these various mail-processing equipment systems with multimeters and other testing instruments to circuit card or component level, as well as repair/replace components in the equipments electrical, electronic and mechanical systems. Lastly, they would monitor and maintain conveyor systems and building equipment.

Larry Smith has a Bachelor of Science from DeVry University in Electronic Engineering Technology and a Diploma from National Institute of Technology in Electrician.
