Maria Martins-Evora

Maria Martins-Evora currently serves as the Chief Operations Officer at the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore since August 2022. Previously, Maria held the role of Management Consultant and Acting Deputy Director for the City of Baltimore from May 2020 to September 2022. Prior experience includes serving as the Chief Administrative Officer at Health Care for the Homeless from October 2016 to October 2019, and as Associate Deputy Director of Youth and Family Programs at the DC Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services in 2014-2015. Maria also worked at the Baltimore City Health Department from 2009 to 2014, where responsibilities included serving as Bureau Chief and Acting Assistant Commissioner. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Social Work/Administration from Boston College and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Sacred Heart University.
