Liz Pocock is the Vice Chair at Downtown Tucson Partnership. Liz has over eight years of experience in legal consulting and research. Liz has also served as the Chief Operating Officer and Interim CEO at Startup Tucson. In these roles, they were responsible for building strong programs around the needs of Tucson businesses and entrepreneurs. Liz has also worked as a Supervising Research Attorney & Development Director at the National Law Center for Inter-American Free Trade. In this role, they were responsible for supervising research attorneys, acquiring data, and developing new programs.
Liz Pocock has a Juris Doctorate from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law in International Trade and Business Law. Liz also holds a Bachelor of Arts from California State University-Long Beach in Human Development and Anthropology, as well as a certification from Eller Executive Education in Leaders Edge. Additionally, Liz Pocock has completed a semester of study abroad at Deakin University in Anthropology and has received certification in Mediation Training from Our Family Services.
