Ryan Johnston has had a diverse range of work experience. Ryan started their career at Stream Global Services in 2005 as a Technical Support Professional. Ryan then worked at Summit Food Service Distributors as an I.T Helpdesk Support Professional from 2009 to 2010. Ryan concurrently took on a role as a Computer Tutor at Lambeth Learning Center in 2009, where they taught programming languages and Microsoft Office applications. In 2011, they became a Junior Developer at akira systems, where they worked until 2013. During this time, they also briefly worked as a Technical Support Analyst at Iciniti Corporation. In 2014, Ryan joined Doxim as a .NET Implementation Specialist, where they created new modules and functionality using VB.NET. Ryan later became a Customer Support Team Lead from 2019 to 2020 and is currently working as a Manager of Client Services.
Ryan Johnston has a strong educational background in computer science and business information systems. Ryan attended Fanshawe College from 2006 to 2008 and obtained a diploma in Business-Information Systems. During this time, they also completed a program in Web Development Essentials in 2007-2008. In 2010-2012, Ryan pursued further education at Fanshawe College and earned a degree in Computer Programmer Analyst, specializing in Computer Science. Prior to their college studies, Ryan completed their high school education and obtained an O.S.S.D High School Diploma from KDSS in the years 2000-2004. In addition to their formal education, Ryan has also obtained several certifications, including "Overcome Overthinking" from LinkedIn in February 2023, "Business Analysis Foundations: Business Process Modeling" from LinkedIn in September 2022, and "Root Cause Analysis: Getting to the Root of Business Problems" from LinkedIn in May 2022.
