James M Durant III

James M DuRant III, MD, MBA, serves as the Medical Director of the Novant Health Center for Pediatric Development and leads the Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Department at Novant Health, where significant program growth has occurred under James's leadership. An accomplished educator, James is involved with multiple academic institutions as a clinical faculty member and serves on the Medical Advisory Board for Andwise while participating in the Doximity Telehealth Fellowship. In addition to establishing the NICU Developmental Follow-Up Clinic, James has developed a telehealth-based private practice, DoctorDuRant, LLC. Academic credentials include an MD from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, with ongoing commitments to community health and pediatric development initiatives.
