Allison Seamans has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Allison started their career in 2006 as a Revenue & Data Administrator at WGBH, where they processed daily contributions and trained volunteers for studio pledge drives. Allison moved up in the organization to become a Fundraising Projects Coordinator and later an Account and Client Services Manager, collaborating with different departments to increase member support.
After that, they joined the Greater Houston Community Foundation as a Donor Services Associate, where they advised clients and processed grant donation requests while ensuring compliance with IRS guidelines.
In 2014, Allison became a Licensed Massage Therapist at Health Care Therapies until 2015, providing massage therapy services. Allison then worked as a Customer Experience Associate at Broomly in 2015, followed by a role as a Project Coordinator at Mood Media in 2017.
At Mood Media, they later became a Customer Success Manager, working with high-profile retail and restaurant brands to manage music services and sound system installations. Allison also redesigned a project work plan for a large client to streamline installations and reduce costs.
Allison then joined the U.S. Census Bureau as an Enumerator, collecting Census data through in-person interviews. In 2020, they started their own business called Invite Reiki, where they practiced Reiki and focused on building confidence through chakra balancing.
In the same year, they joined TaskUs as a Technical Support Specialist, assisting customers with social media platform presence. Allison then moved into roles as a Subject Matter Expert, Social Media Marketing Expert, and Sales Development Representative, exceeding lead generation goals and providing marketing consultations to SMBs.
Currently, Allison is working at doxo as an Inside Sales - Provider Engagement representative, focused on engaging with providers.
Allison Seamans holds a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA degree in Marketing from Texas A&M University. In 2015 to 2016, they attended Batch Academy (acquired by Hack Reactor) for Front-end Web Development. In terms of future education plans, Allison is set to pursue a degree in Tech Sales from CourseCareers starting in 2023 and ending in 2033. Alongside their formal education, they have obtained certifications in "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences" from LinkedIn in April 2020, as well as Reiki Level I from Carrie Laymon and Reiki Level II from Lisa Powers, without specific details regarding the months and years they were obtained.
