Dr Jim Nelson

Dr. Jim Nelson currently serves as the Medical Director of Case Management at Doylestown Health since October 2017. Prior to this role, Dr. Nelson held the position of Associate Medical Director of Denials and Appeals at Lehigh Valley Hospital Hazleton from 2005 to 2017, where responsibilities included reviewing denials and managing the denials process. Additionally, Dr. Nelson was the Director of Risk Management and Corporate Compliance, successfully designing a comprehensive program that led to reduced patient falls and decreased insurance costs. Dr. Nelson obtained a Doctor of Medicine from Hahnemann University, a Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Compliance from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor's degree in Premedicine from Lehigh University.
