Tom Mercer

Tom Mercer serves and President and General Manager of Arctic IT.

Mercer holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from North Dakota State University and a master’s degree in Management of Technology from the University of Minnesota. He began his career like many technology experts, first as a developer, then quickly grew into a leader of product development.

Mercer’s strength is his ability to launch digital products in the library, healthcare, and industrial markets, bringing the depth of his experience in government sectors worldwide. In addition, he has been awarded four patents for his work in commercializing multiple international products.

When not at work, he enjoys travel, winter, and a variety of outdoor activities such as softball, skiing, hunting and fishing with his family in Minnesota.
