Lead Software Engineer at Dozuki

Rich McCluskey has been working in the software engineering field since 2011. Rich began their career as a Survey Technician at MBS Land Surveys. In 2013, they became a Project Engineer at Civil Design Studio, Inc., where they designed and prepared plans with AutoCAD Civil 3D for demolition, horizontal control, grading and drainage, ADA and Title 24 compliance, storm drain systems, sanitary sewer systems, domestic water systems, fire systems, dry utility coordination, erosion control, street and utility improvements, and traffic control. Rich then worked as a Software Engineer at SoCreate from 2015-2017. During this time, they worked on a greenfield project built with a microservice infrastructure at Healthcare IQ. Currently, they are the Lead Software Engineer at Dozuki, leading the frontend team to migrate a legacy PHP app to Next.js and leading various efforts to add features to and refactor some of the oldest and most complex parts of the application such as the wiki/guide revision control system.

Rich McCluskey obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo between 2006 and 2011. In December 2011, they earned an Engineer In Training (EIT) certification from the Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists. In 2014 and 2015, they attended Dev Bootcamp to study Web Development.
