Aatish Pravinkumar Shah

Aatish Pravinkumar Shah is the Head of Tax for the GCC region at DP World since September 2023, bringing extensive experience in tax compliance and enforcement from a prior role as Senior Tax Audit Lead at the Federal Tax Authority from October 2018 to September 2023. Aatish has a strong background in economic substance regulation, corporate tax, VAT, excise administration, risk assessment, and tax technology. Previous positions include Principal in Indirect Tax at Dhruva Consultants, where Aatish played a pivotal role in establishing and expanding tax consultancy services in the UAE, and various tax management roles at LeasePlan and Sunshine Enterprises. Aatish’s early career at KPMG India involved providing indirect tax advisory services across multiple industries. Aatish holds multiple advanced degrees, including MBAs from Alliance Manchester Business School and Texas McCombs School of Business, as well as a Fellow Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
