Carlos Merino

Carlos Merino serves as the CEO for DP World in Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia since March 2021, having previously held the position of CEO for Ecuador. Prior to joining DP World, Carlos Merino served as Deputy CEO and Director of Infrastructure and Projects at Terminales Portuarios Euroandinos from May 2009 to December 2020, where involvement included a $250 million modernization project for Peru’s northern port of Paita. Additionally, Carlos Merino was the CEO of ZED Paita, a free trade zone, and President of the Asociacion Civil Fondo Social Terminal Portuario de Paita, facilitating significant social investments. Earlier career experience includes roles as an Infrastructure Associate at Babcock & Brown and Commercial Manager at Neptunia S.A. Carlos Merino's educational background includes an MBA from Babson College and executive education from prestigious institutions such as Harvard, MIT, and London Business School.
