George Onyango has extensive experience in finance and management across various prestigious companies. Starting as an Audit Trainee at Deloitte in 1996, George held several roles at Unilever, including Financial Reporting Manager for South Africa and Commercial Manager for Ethiopia. In 2005, George joined Diageo CCA, serving as RTR Lead and later as Business Performance Manager and Financial Controller for Cameroun. From 2010 to 2013, George worked at The Coca-Cola Company as Regional Controller for East West & South Africa, Business Planning Manager, and Financial Controller for East and Central Africa. Following this, George served as Finance Director for West Africa at L'Oréal from 2013 to 2015. From July 2015 to August 2023, George was with GSK, assuming roles including Finance Director for East Africa Pharma and General Manager for Kenya Pharma, as well as Interim General Manager for East Africa Consumer Healthcare. Currently, George is the Vice President of Finance for Surgipharm & IMS East Africa at DP World. George holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Nairobi and an MBA from Henley Business School.
