Matthew Thornber

Matthew Thornber has extensive experience in terminal operations, currently serving as Senior Director - Operations at DP World London Gateway since May 2012, where responsibilities include managing Yard, Rail, Berth, and Vessel Planning activities. Prior to this role, Matthew held positions at Shell from November 2008 to April 2012 as a Port Agency Analyst and Bunker Buyer, and at DP World Southampton as a Project Coordinator. Matthew's career began at Ports of Auckland, where from January 1999 to January 2008, various roles included Navis Super User and responsibilities in Yard and Ship Planning. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Auckland.
