Raj Jit Singh Wallia is currently the Deputy CFO & SVP Corporate Finance and Business Development at DP World. Raj has also previously worked with Dubai World, Deutsche Bank, and ING Barings. Raj Jit Singh Wallia has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry.

Raj Jit Singh Wallia started their career in 1994 as an Associate at ING Wholesale Banking. Raj then moved to ING Barings in 1997 and worked their way up to Vice President. In 2000, they were promoted to Director at ING. From 2003 to 2007, Raj Jit Singh Wallia was the Managing Director at ING and Head of Leverage Finance and Sponsor Coverage for Central and Eastern Europe.

In 2007, Raj Jit Singh Wallia left ING to work at Deutsche Bank as their Managing Director. Raj was in charge of DB’s Asia sub-investment grade DCM origination business (ex-Japan and Australia). In 2009, they left Deutsche Bank to join Dubai World as their Group Head Corporate Finance and Treasury. Raj Jit Singh Wallia was a member of the Dubai World Restructuring Excom during their time with the company. Raj left Dubai World in 2011 and joined DP World later that year.

Raj Jit Singh Wallia has a wealth of experience in the financial industry and has proven himself to be a successful leader. Raj is currently overseeing corporate finance and business development

Raj Jit Singh Wallia attended high school at The Daly College in Indore, India. Raj then attended high school at Indian School in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. After that, they attended the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering.

They are on a team with Mohammed Akoojee - Group Chief Operating Officer, Logistics, Pradeep Desai - CTO, and Ganesh Raj - SVP – Special Projects. Raj Jit Singh Wallia reports to Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Group Chairman & CEO.
