Alex Pollard

Alex Pollard is a seasoned dance professional with extensive experience in education and program development. As the Founder and Owner of City Centre Dance since May 2017, Alex has created Mississauga’s premiere drop-in dance centre by hiring esteemed educators and choreographers. In addition to this role, Alex serves as a Guest Teacher for the Peel District School Board and the Toronto District School Board, and a Guest Lecturer at Centennial College. Other notable contributions include serving as a Community Outreach Specialist at the Living Arts Centre Mississauga and a Board Member for the Small Arms Society. Alex actively participates in the Mississauga Arts Council as a Committee Member and teaches dance at Stagecoach Performing Arts and the Town of Oakville. With a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from York University, Alex has dedicated a significant portion of a career to inspiring and educating youth in various dance disciplines.
