Mirza Islam is a highly experienced Information and Communication Technology professional with a diverse background in system administration, network infrastructure management, and IT security. Currently serving as a Senior Information and Communication Technology Specialist at Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board since March 2021, Mirza manages IT equipment, troubleshooting, and project communications. Previously, as an Information Technology Security Specialist with Durham Region, responsibilities included network monitoring and infrastructure maintenance. With earlier roles as a Network & System Administrator at Delco Automation Inc. and ICT Coordinator at the World Health Organization, Mirza has a solid foundation in managing IT systems and support. Educational credentials include a Diploma in Enterprise Network Engineering from Citi College and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from East West University.
