Lars van der Steen completed their Gymnasium degree at College de Klop in 1988. Lars then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics & Information Sciences at Delft University of Technology from 1988 to 1992. Lars later obtained a degree in Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam, graduating in 1994. Finally, Lars completed their MBA from the University of California, Berkeley in 1995.
