Richard Santiago Arrais

Richard Santiago Arrais, B.Eng, is a highly experienced electrical designer with a career spanning over a decade in the electrical engineering field. Currently serving as a Senior Electrical Designer at DPM Energy Inc since October 2018, Richard has progressed through roles including Intermediate Electrical Designer and Electrical Designer. Prior to this, Richard operated as a self-employed Associate and gained experience as a Machine Lab Assistant at Centennial College, where responsibilities included ensuring safety and proper tool usage among students. Earlier in the career, Richard held the position of Electrical Engineer/Designer at Industrias Rio Covo, where significant achievements included increasing die machine production through innovative automation designs. Richard's foundational experience includes a CO-OP position at CORPOELEC, where contributions involved designing projects to alleviate transformer overloads. Richard holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Instituto Universitario Politécnico Santiago Mariño and a diploma in Energy Systems Engineering Technician from Centennial College.
