Ahmed Ali has a diverse background in various engineering roles. Ahmed began their career in 2014 with AFA Consultancy Limited as an Executive Assistant, where they assisted with international student affairs. In 2019, Ahmed joined Intel Corporation, working in Instrumentation & Control and Facilities Management Systems. Ahmed analyzed plant processes, designed and implemented improvements, and managed operations. From 2021 to 2022, Ahmed worked as an Automation & Control Engineer at Cully Automation Ltd, specializing in controls and automation designs for the water and wastewater industry. In 2022, they joined Harro Höfliger as a Service & Control Engineer, where they installed, start-up, supported, and repaired packaging equipment machines. Most recently, Ahmed held the position of Lead Instrumentation Control Engineer at DPS Group Global, leading and controlling the design of instrumentation and control systems. Ahmed was also involved in master planning, concept designs, and engineering studies for new and existing systems.

From 2015 to 2019, they attended Technological University Dublin, where they earned a Bachelor's (Honors) degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering.

Prior to that, from 2013 to 2015, Ahmed studied at Crumlin College of Further Education, where they obtained a Diploma of Education in Network and System Administration/Administrator.

Ahmed'seducation journey started in 2012 at Crumlin College of Further Education, where they completed a year-long FETAC program in Computer Network & Maintenance.
