Sasidaran Kandasamy

Sasidaran Kandasamy serves as the Group Head of Pediatric Critical Care Services at Dr. Mehta's Hospitals in Chennai, India, since January 2013, while also directing the DrNB Pediatric Critical Care Program and leading research initiatives with the establishment of the PACER Unit. In addition to a clinical role as Chief Consultant Pediatric Intensivist, Sasidaran is an NABH Assessor for Healthcare Organizations, Ethics Committees, and Clinical Trials since July 2017. Previous experience includes serving as Unit Head at the CNH Comprehensive Child Health Center from March 2015 to December 2022. Educational achievements comprise an MD in Pediatrics, various fellowships in Pediatric Intensive Care and Nephrology, and a comprehensive medical degree (MBBS) from institutions such as the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research and Chengalpattu Medical College. Additionally, Sasidaran holds a diploma from the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy.
