Dr. Pia Lena Karrenbrock

Dr. Pia Lena Karrenbrock currently serves as Executive Manager in M&A and Investment Steering at Dr. Oetker since July 2021, following a role as Senior Project Manager in M&A. Prior experience includes a managerial position at PwC focusing on large-scale carve-outs and post-merger integration in the Pharma and Life Sciences sectors. Additional roles include involvement in Beteiligungsmanagement and Private Equity at Marcard, Stein & Co, and academia as a Research and Teaching Associate at WU Vienna, along with a visiting PhD student position at the Stockholm School of Economics. Early career experience entails internships at IBM in strategic outsourcing, Daimler AG in the controlling department, and the German Consulate General in economic affairs. Dr. Karrenbrock holds a PhD in Strategic Management and Management Control from WU, a master's degree with distinction in International Business from the University of St Andrews, and a bachelor's degree in European Business from the University of Portsmouth.
