Pankaj Taneja

Pankaj Taneja is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as the EVP and Head of Africa business and Head of Business Development for India and Emerging Markets at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories since July 2020, Pankaj has a proven track record in driving strategic growth and operational performance. Prior to this, Pankaj was the COO at Hero Enterprise, overseeing a multi-sector portfolio and leading significant transformation initiatives. Pankaj's previous experience includes a notable tenure at Bain & Company, where responsibilities spanned from Associate Partner to Manager, focusing on management consulting and private equity across various sectors. Additional roles include Chief of Staff at Aditya Birla Group, where Pankaj drove strategy and operations for the Chemicals division, and managerial positions at Ranbaxy Laboratories and Sterling Express. Pankaj holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, is a Chartered Accountant, and possesses degrees from ESSEC Business School and Kirori Mal College.
