Iain Shovlin

Iain Shovlin is a seasoned venture capitalist and entrepreneur, currently serving as the Founder, Chairman, and Managing Partner of Guild Capital, a firm focused on backing early-stage tech-enabled consumer businesses outside Silicon Valley since April 2009. Iain holds chairman and board roles at several companies, including Ruggable, Fresh Clean Threads, Hedley & Bennett, Dr. Squatch, and MailControl, where contributions include strategic guidance and seed investments. Notably, Iain has also been involved as a board observer for Petal and has played a pivotal role in Home Chef as a board member. Additionally, Iain co-founded Argyle Search Partners in 2012, a firm that connects top talent with growth opportunities. In the fashion space, Iain is recognized for being the first investor and board member at TechStyle Fashion Group, which provides an engaging shopping experience for millions.
