Jihan Zoghbi, PhD

Jihan Zoghbi, PhD has a varied work experience. Jihan began their career in 2001 as a Program Analyzer at Agência Estado. In 2003, they became the Information Technology Manager at Ameplan Assistência Médica Planejada. In 2008, they earned their Master in Computer Science from the Universidade de São Paulo. In 2011, they earned their PhD in Computer Science from the same university. In 2014, they became the CIO of Ameplan Assistência Médica Planejada. In 2019, they became the President of ABCIS - Associação Brasileira CIO Saúde. In 2020, they became a Member of the Investment Pool Health Tech Bossa Nova at Bossa Nova Investimentos. Finally, in 2018, they founded Dr. TIS - Plataforma de Telemedicina e Telerradiologia, where they currently serve as the CEO.

Jihan Zoghbi, PhD began their educational journey in 1995, earning a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the American University of Beirut. Jihan then went on to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie in 2002. In 2008, they earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Instituto de Matemática e Estatística - Universidade de São Paulo (IME-USP). Finally, in 2016, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Ciência da Computação from IME-USP.
