Claudio Berardino

Claudio Berardino has extensive work experience as a Mechanical Technologist and Applications specialist in various companies. Claudio started their career in 1987 at Canada Post / Postes Canada, where they worked as an Applications specialist, focusing on CAD administration and support. Claudio then moved on to Pyradia Inc as a Mechanical Technologist and applications specialist, specializing in mechanical design and drafting. Claudio also provided CAD technical support and programming for engineering applications. Claudio later worked at SolidXperts as a Mechanical Technologist and Applications specialist before joining GNA alutech inc. as a Mechanical Technologist and site supervisor. At GNA alutech inc., they focused on mechanical design, drafting, and site supervision for industrial furnaces and equipment in the aluminum industry. Claudio then worked at Fives Solios Inc and Hatch as a Mechanical Technologist. In 2014, they joined EclipseTech inc. as a Mechanical Technologist, specializing in equipment layouts and mechanical design in the agri-food industry. Claudio also provided site supervision for equipment installation and civil works drainage refurbishment. From 2015 to 2018, Claudio worked at Mecanica Solutions as an Applications specialist, focusing on mechanical design and providing CAD/CAM technical support. Since 2018, they have been working at ANDRITZ Hydro Canada Inc. as a Mechanical Technologist, mainly involved in plant/equipment layouts, mechanical design, coordination, and CAD technical support. Most recently, they joined DRA Global as a Lead Design, starting in 2022.

Claudio Berardino received a DEC - College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology - Design from Dawson College, where they studied from 1980 to 1983. Claudio also obtained additional certifications in Welding Standards from the Canadian Welding Bureau in 2011, and in Workplace Safety for Construction Sites from ASP Construction in 2010.
