Riaan Schwiebus

Riaan Schwiebus has over 20 years of work experience in civil engineering and project management. Riaan has worked for various companies and organizations, including DRA Global, DRA Mineral Projects, Thompson and van Eck Consulting Engineers, Westminster City Council, London Borough of Barnet, London Borough of Haringey, The Project Centre, and Group Five International Civil Contractors. Throughout their career, Riaan has held roles such as Lead Civil/Structural Design Engineer, Civil Project Engineer, Client Manager (Engineering & Implementation), Highways Engineer, Traffic Engineer, and AutoCAD Technician. Riaan'sresponsibilities have included designing and managing civil and structural projects, coordinating with clients and other project disciplines, preparing tender documents, evaluating and awarding contracts, and overseeing construction. Riaan's experience spans across a range of sectors, including mining, process plants, transportation engineering, environmental improvement, traffic management, and highway and traffic schemes.

Riaan Schwiebus obtained a B-Eng degree in Civil Engineering from Rand Afrikaans University from 1993 to 1997. Later, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering & Project Management at Witwatersrand University from 2004 to 2005.
