Mark Thompson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the gaming and entertainment industry. Mark started their career with Pinnacle Entertainment in 1993, serving in various roles such as Assistant Treasurer and Director of Finance. Mark then joined Penn National Gaming as the Director of Finance for Hollywood Casino Bay St. Louis. After that, they worked at Isle of Capri Casino as the Corporate Senior Director of Finance. In 2010, they joined Eldorado Resort - Shreveport as the Director of Finance until 2015. From 2015 onwards, they held the position of Director of Finance at Tropicana Entertainment - Belle of Baton Rouge and DraftKings at Casino Queen.
Mark Thompson attended the University of Nevada, Reno from 1981 to 1983, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance. Mark then pursued further education at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas from 1983 to 1985, earning another BS degree in Finance.
