Brian Parkes

Brian Parkes is a seasoned engineering and product management professional with extensive experience in the financial and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at DraftKings Inc. since August 2023, Brian oversees the back-end engineering team for the iGaming platform. Prior to this role, Brian worked at Meta as a Senior Product TPM, focusing on experimentation within the Commerce Organization. Brian's notable past positions include Head of Sberbank Markets at Sberbank CIB, where responsibilities included the design and management of the first client electronic trading platform, and Global Head of Systematic Trading IT at Barclays Capital, leading a global team of developers. Brian's earlier roles span several prominent firms such as Aon Risk Services, Merrill Lynch Japan Securities, and Deutsche Bank. Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Computation from the University of Oxford.
