Lutz Lehmann

Lutz Lehmann has extensive experience in research and development within the medical and laser technology sectors. As Vice-President of R&D Medical Platform at Dräger since November 2008, Lutz oversees the development of global medical hardware and software solutions, including UX design and coordination of R&D activities. Previous roles at Dräger include Head of global R&D Hospital Products and Head of R&D Engineering Excellence Safety Products, focusing on medical therapy devices and safety products, respectively. Lutz's early career involved significant positions at ALLTEC GmbH, including Head of R&D Laser Systems, and Coherent Inc., where development of advanced laser technologies was a primary focus. Educationally, Lutz holds a Diploma in Engineering Physics with an emphasis on Optics and Lasers from the University of Applied Science MFHI.
