Toni Schrofner

Chief Officer Medical Division at Dräger

Toni Schrofner has a diverse work experience spanning several notable companies. Toni began their career at Tecan in 1993, where they served as a Member of the Executive Board, COO, and Head of Tecan Instruments for a decade. Following their time at Tecan, they joined Sonova Holding in 2003 as a Member of the Executive Board and EVP Operations & Supply Chain until 2007. Toni then moved on to work at forteq group as COO, specializing in Turnaround & Restructuring Mandate from 2007 to 2009. More recently, in 2010, they joined Dräger, where they have held various positions, including Chief Operating Officer until 2013, Chief Innovation Officer until 2019, and currently serves as the Chief Officer of the Medical Division.

Toni Schrofner completed an MSc in Innovation Management from LIMAK in the years 2009-2013. In 2006-2007, they participated in the International Senior Entrepreneurial Leadership Program at ISEP. In 2002-2003, they studied Strategisches R&D Management and Supply Chain Management at INSEAD. Toni has a Dipl. Betriebswirt degree in BWL and International Management from MCI (University Innsbruck) and ÖCI (University Vienna) from 1997-2002. Their education also includes a Dipl. Ing. (HTL) in Technische Mechanik and Mechatronik from HTL Salzburg in 1978-1984.
