Babita B.

Babita B. has extensive work experience in the compliance and control room field. Babita is currently the Global Head of Compliance, MIC, and MLRO at Dragon Capital Group Limited, where they focus on Vietnam-based assets. Prior to that, they served as the Global Head of Control Room at CLSA Limited and Head of Research Compliance, APAC at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Babita also worked at Mizuho Securities Asia Limited, Standard Chartered Bank, Cazenove Asia Limited, BNP Paribas, and Baring Securities in various roles related to research control, operations, and management. Babita B. has honed their skills and expertise in the financial industry throughout their career.

Babita B. holds a Bachelor of Arts (AB) degree in Economics from Bryn Mawr College. In 2009, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Management from the University of Leicester. In 2014, Babita completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance and Law from the University of Hong Kong. Furthermore, they obtained the Series 16 - Supervisory Analyst certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in December 2014. Starting in 2021, they pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Compliance and Regulation at the University of Hong Kong, which is expected to be completed in 2023.
