Patrick Goodridge

Due Diligence Manager at Dragonfly Capital Partners

Patrick Goodridge is a compliance officer and manager with over a decade of experience in the financial industry. Patrick started their career as a language fellow with the Institute of International Education, where they worked for a year before moving to the U.S. Department of State as a Title VIII fellow. After their fellowship, they worked in guest services at Longwood Gardens for three years before joining Carta as a compliance officer.

At Carta, Patrick was a founding member of the company's AML program and authored the company's first ever sanctions policy, OFAC procedures, and AML risk assessment. Patrick also coordinated Carta's implementation of the 2022 Russia sanctions, directly advising the General Counsel and the Head of Policy, as well as writing several analytical products for the C-suite and board of directors. In their final two months at Carta, they led two company-wide presentations on sanctions matters.

Patrick is currently a due diligence manager at Dragonfly Capital Partners.

Patrick Goodridge has a Master of Arts from Stanford University in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies, a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania in Linguistics, and Certifications from ACAMS and ACTFL.
