Allen Fears

Allen Fears has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Allen is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Dragonfly Data Ventures since October 2021, where they are involved in creating a wellness ecosystem driven by novel data aggregation and protection methods. Prior to this, they formed Erste Consulting Group in 2003 and worked as an Owner, providing strategic assistance to clients. Allen also held the role of CFO at National Sports Services during that time. From 2016 to 2019, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at RedBarre Digital Media and Technology Campus, contributing to the development of a state-of-the-art media and technology-centric real estate project in Metro Denver.

Allen also has experience as the Chief Financial Officer at American Trainco from 2008 to 2016, where they played a critical role in the company's success, financial projections, and smooth exit. Allen served as the Chief Financial Officer of the Denver Broncos Football Club from 1997 to 2003, overseeing the complex project of building a new football stadium for the team. Prior to that, they worked at Dish Network for over 10 years, holding the position of Vice President, Treasurer, and Controller. Allen played a key role in the company's initial public offering and its evolution into a major player in the Pay-TV industry.

Allen's earlier work experience includes working as an Experienced Audit Senior at Arthur Andersen & Co., where they were responsible for field audits, financial statement drafting, SEC filings, and supervision of staff.

Allen Fears received a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Rutgers Business School in 1980. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Randolph-Macon College in 1979. Additionally, Allen holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant, but its status is currently listed as inactive.
