Andrea Tomei

Andrea Tomei is a skilled C++ and Unreal Engine programmer currently serving as Team Lead at Dragons Lake by Room 8 Group since March 2023, focusing on gameplay solutions for an upcoming AAA title scheduled for release in 2025. Previously, as Lead Game Programmer and co-founder at Overdroid from May 2020 to December 2022, Andrea designed and developed a successful multiplayer strategy video game utilizing Unreal Engine 4, achieving a stable Alpha version with minimal bugs and a noteworthy player engagement. This project won the prestigious Cinecittà Game Hub competition, earning a prize of 60,000€. Andrea possesses a solid technical background, including expertise in multiplayer game architecture and various cloud technologies, and holds a High School Diploma with a scientific specialization from Liceo Scientifico G. B. Morgagni.
