Fernando Frauca has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Fernando is currently serving as the President of Drake Food Service. Prior to this, they held the positions of CEO Latam and COO & CMO Group at Grupo Telepizza, where they oversaw operations in 39 countries. Before that, they served as the Vice President of Joint Ventures at Terra Lycos, a subsidiary of Telefónica. Additionally, they spent 11 years at Unilever, where they worked as a Sales Director and gained significant experience in marketing and sales.
Fernando Frauca earned a Licentiate degree in Economic & Business Sciences from the University of Deusto between 1984 and 1989.

Drake Food Service is the largest international franchisee for the Papa John’s Pizza brand in the world, operating more than 420+ stores in 7 countries with more than 8000 employees. DFSI holds the exclusive master franchise rights for the Papa John’s brand in Chile, Spain, Portugal, Costa Rica, Guatemala and Panama. DFSI also operates as a franchisee in the UK. The Papa John’s brand is owned by Papa John’s Pizza, Inc, a listed US company. The company acquired PJ Chile in 2015 with 32 stores and scaled up to 140+ stores in 2021, leading the pizza segment in the market. PJ Iberia started its development as a greenfield project in December 2016 and reached 80+ stores in 2021 in Spain and opening the first store in Portugal that same year. Recently DFSI acquired the ongoing business in Costa Rica, Panama and Guatemala in 2018, 2019 and 2020 respectively, expanding it’s international footprint. In 2021 DFSI acquired the largest PJ franchisee in the UK.
