Richard Salas Gálvez

Richard Salas Gálvez has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Richard has been the CTO at Drake Food Service since 2022, where they have directed the company's technology strategy, resulting in increased online orders and customer loyalty. Richard also served as the CEO of Mercat (Spin-off) at Drake Food Service in 2021, leading the spin-off of the software division and achieving significant revenue growth. Prior to that, they worked at Papa John's Chile as the Head of Products, where they developed and executed projects to improve the digital channels and increase conversion rates. At AAXIS Commerce, they held the position of Senior Digital Consultant and Business Analyst, advising clients on digital strategy and managing eCommerce projects. Richard has also had experience as an Assistant Professor at Universidad San Sebastian, Co-founder and Chief Product Officer at WitoiCorp, and held various roles at Universidad de Chile and Telefónica Chile - Movistar.

Richard Salas Gálvez holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Mathematics, with a major in Industrial Engineering, IT, and Management from Universidad de Chile. Additionally, they are currently pursuing an Executive Master's in Business Administration (EMBA) degree from Esade, which they are expected to complete in 2024.
