In 2000, they co-founded portax.com as CFO. In 2002, they joined Viscardi as Managing Director and Head of Technology Investment Banking. In 2007, they co-founded Jupiter Capital Partners (now Drake Star Partners) and served as Managing Partner and Owner. At Drake Star Partners, they are a Managing Partner, Member of the Global Executive Committee & the Board, Co-Founder, and Owner. Drake Star Partners is a global investment banking firm serving the technology, media and communications sectors (TMC) with offices all over the world. The firm focuses on M&A and corporate finance for its clients worldwide.
Ralf Philipp Hofmann began their educational journey in 1990 when they completed a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA from the University of Tübingen in the field of Business Administration and Management, General. Ralf Philipp then went on to pursue a Master's degree (Diplom-Kaufmann) from the same university, which they completed in 1996. Between 1992 and 1993, Hofmann attended the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg to study International Business. Additionally, in 1993, they attended Stony Brook University to study Statistics.
