David Fogg

David Fogg is a seasoned professional in naval architecture and marine engineering, currently serving as a Principal Consultant at Drakkar Consulting since October 2024. Previously, David held the position of Manager of Design and Engineering at Birdon Group from June 2016 to October 2024, where responsibilities included program management of Defence projects and oversight of the internal Technical department. David founded DBF Designs in March 2015, offering specialized marine consulting services, and also contributed as an online lecturer for a Ship Design course at the University of Tasmania in late 2015. Prior experience includes roles at Tripp Design, Pedrick Yacht Designs, and Murray, Burns, & Dovell LLC, focusing on structural engineering, optimization of racing yachts, and full-service naval architecture. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture from Webb Institute, graduating in 2002.
