Alan Kaplan

Alan Kaplan is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Princeton University, where responsibilities include jointly managing and teaching the highly enrolled introductory computer science course, COS 126. Alongside this position at Princeton since September 2014, Alan Kaplan serves as Chief Innovation Adviser and Co-Owner of Drakontas LLC, overseeing the development of DragonForce, a mobile collaboration application. Previous roles include Department Head at Panasonic Princeton Research Laboratory, Assistant Professor at Clemson University, and Lecturer at Flinders University of South Australia. Alan Kaplan holds an MS and PhD in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a BS in Computer Science from Duke University.
