Raquel Bernal Alonso

Raquel Bernal Alonso has extensive experience in venture capital and startup mentorship, currently serving as a Managing Partner, Head of Dealflow, and Portfolio Manager at Draper B1 since April 2015, focusing on early-stage investments in SaaS, marketplace, and disruptive e-commerce startups. Previously, Raquel held roles such as General Board Member and Talent Recruiter, where responsibilities included identifying promising startups and leading talent acquisition for acceleration programs. As Acceleration Program Director, Raquel mentored startups using Lean Startup Methodology. Additionally, Raquel co-organizes Techstars Startup Weekend and has served as a mentor at Factory Startup. Prior entrepreneurial ventures include co-founding Homelyst, an online marketplace, and Arttroop. Raquel's career began at LLOC as a Co-founder and Project Manager, followed by a role as Chief of Urban Planner Architects at Atlántida Estudios y Gestión. Raquel holds degrees in Architecture and Urban Planning from Universitat Politècnica de València and UPV/EHU Donostia.
