Terry Coffey has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Terry initially worked at WAXT as the News Director from August 1986 to November 1987. Following that, they joined WBST/Indiana Public Radio as the News Assignments Manager and Production Manager from November 1987 to March 1997. During this role, they assigned stories to a volunteer student staff, mentored them, and also reported and anchored news. Terry then moved on to work as an Assistant Editor at The American Legion Magazine from November 1998 to July 1999. After that, they were self-employed as an Author, with their works being published in various publications and collections. In 1999, they started working at Draper, Inc. where they held two roles. First, they worked as a Media Relations/Technical Publications professional from July 1999 to May 2014. Here, they created and updated technical documentation and also developed various PR pieces. Later, they transitioned to the role of an External Communications Specialist at Draper, Inc. from May 2014 onwards. In this role, they drafted written materials, articulated the brand message, and was involved in various media-related tasks.
Terry Coffey's education history includes attending Ball State University from 1982 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Telecommunications and Anthropology. Prior to that, Terry attended Muncie Southside High School from 1978 to 1982 and completed their high school education, focusing on English, Science, and Social Studies.
