Gilbert D. Feke

Gilbert D. Feke is a seasoned professional in the fields of materials science and optics, currently serving as Principal Member Technical Staff in Materials Science and Chemistry and previously as Senior Member Technical Staff in Photonic Systems at Draper since February 2016. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Optical Engineer at Bruker BioSpin Corp and Carestream Health, where significant contributions to optical engineering were made. Feke's career began at Eastman Kodak and included a pivotal role as Senior Engineer at RainDance Technologies, leading the development of a high-speed droplet sorting system for biotechnology applications. Feke holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Yale University and a B.A. in Physics and Classical Civilization from Boston University.
