John Lachapelle

John Lachapelle is a highly experienced engineering professional specializing in materials engineering and microfabrication, currently serving as Principal Engineer at Draper since June 2015. With a robust background that includes roles such as Technical Director for the Draper HAPTIX project and System Engineer for the Draper-DARPA SUBNETS Project, John has significantly contributed to team development by hiring and promoting staff, as well as mentoring students. Prior positions include Senior Member of Technical Staff at Maxim Integrated and various design engineering roles at M/A-COM and Trimble Navigation. John’s educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering specializing in High Speed Integrated Circuit Design from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
