Maddy Royse is a Senior Member of the Technical Staff at Draper and a PhD candidate in the Bioengineering department at Rice University. Maddy's research focuses on endothelial cell function within engineered tissues, aiming to develop an in vitro vascular model for therapeutic applications. Maddy has previously worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Rice University, where they established a 3D printed vascular model for drug delivery studies, and as a Bioengineer II at 3D Systems Corporation. Maddy also contributed to educational outreach and scientific communication during their undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
