Philip Livesey

Philip Livesey has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Philip has been working at Drax Group since 2019, starting as an IT Operations Analyst - Network and progressing to IT Operations Senior Analyst - Network. Currently, they hold the position of IT Operations Technical Lead - Network. At Opus Energy, they started as an IT Graduate and quickly transitioned to the role of IT Systems Administrator. Philip played a crucial role in maintaining the company's critical applications and customer-facing services. Additionally, while at Opus Energy, they also served as an Infrastructure Network Engineer during the company's transition to a single headquarters. Prior to this, Philip worked as a Sales Advisor at Maplin Electronics and as a Trainee IT Technician at Penwortham Priory Academy Trust.

Philip Livesey completed their education at the University of Central Lancashire, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Computer Network Technology from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended Runshaw College from 2010 to 2012, focusing on IT. Philip has also obtained several certifications, including VMware SD-WAN: Deploy and Manage [V4.x] from VMware in October 2023, Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Advanced Infrastructure Implementation from Cisco in March 2023, Administering BIG-IP v.15.1 from F5 in April 2021, Managing Safely from IOSH in September 2020, Implementing and Configuring Cisco Identity Services Engine (SISE) 2.1 from Fast Lane in July 2018, ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in November 2016, and Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) from Cisco in October 2019.
