Evangelos Kosmidis

Evangelos Kosmidis is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in both the environmental sector and deep-tech startups. As the CEO and General Partner of Loggerhead Ventures since July 2023, Evangelos leads an equity fund dedicated to mission-driven deep-tech startups in Greece, managing a €10 million fund for early-stage companies focused on green and digital transformation. In addition, Evangelos has founded and directed several organizations, including DRAXIS Environmental S.A. and CREVIS SPRL, with a strong emphasis on scientific product commercialization. With a solid academic foundation in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Ph.D. from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Evangelos also contributed to environmental legislation consulting as an advisor to Greek MEPs and has held various research and teaching positions in prestigious institutions.
